About me
Hello and welcome.
I’m Nikola, and I’m working as a CTO at MailerLite. I also work on MailerSend and MailerCheck, and we strive to help people who cannot code to easily transform their thoughts into content.
When I was a teen I thought I was going to be a graphic/web designer and when I was 15 I started earning money by making websites for small companies in my hometown. Nearing my 20s, I didn’t want to focus on one thing but have an impact across multiple areas of work. There I discovered my love for system administration.
But that wasn’t enough. Later in my career, I found my love for programming, especially for Golang and Ruby.
Now I enjoy helping multiple teams and also keeping in line with the trends - my current obsession is Nix.
In addition to my work at MailerLite, I’m also actively involved in the tech community. I regularly attend conferences and workshops, and I’m always looking for ways to learn and grow as a person and engineer. I believe that staying connected to the broader community is essential for staying on top of the latest trends and developments in the field.
I’m also passionate about mentoring and helping others grow in their careers. I believe that by sharing my knowledge and experiences, I can help others achieve their goals and reach their full potential. I’m always happy to help others who are interested in learning more about technology, and I’m eager to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
In my free time, I love tinkering with electronics and technology. I’m a big fan of guitar pedals and I love experimenting with different combinations to create unique and interesting sounds. I’m also fascinated by the world of home automation, and I’m always looking for new ways to automate and optimize my living space. I find that working on these projects is a great way to relax and unwind, and it allows me to express my creativity in a fun and engaging way. I recently started using eurorack modules as well.
